Jayden Williams and sophomore
Blake Nyenati broke North Dakota State men's track & field school records on Saturday to highlight the efforts of NDSU at the Bison Open.

Williams (Williston, N.D.) burned a 6.74 to win the 60m dash, tying Bison Athletic Hall of Famer Marques Johnson's 20-year-old school record from the 2004 NCAA Indoor Championships. Williams' time was also a new NDSU facility record.

Nyenati (Andover, Minn.) ran an NDSU record 7.81 in the 60m hurdles, breaking the previous mark by nine-hundredths of a second. Nyenati also set a facility record, and ranks No. 41 in the nation this season.

Brock Johnsen clocked a personal-best 8.01 in the 60m hurdles prelims, ranking seventh in NDSU history. Freshman
Trey Heinrich now ranks ninth all-time at NDSU for the 60m hurdles after a personal-best 8.06.

Sophomore
Kaden Pastian won the shot put at the Bison Open for his seventh event title of the season.

Cullen Curl won the 400m dash in 49.28, and
Carter Elde was second in 49.33. Freshman
Ethan Moe was second in the 800m, clocking 1:52.98 to become the Summit League leader this season.

Adam Dugger was the runner-up in the triple jump with a leap of 46-2 (14.07m). Freshman
Michael Haugo placed second in the long jump with a mark of 23-6 (7.16m).
Hunter Merkley was third at a season-best 23-05.50 (7.15m).

Braden Brown cleared a personal-best 6-08.75 (2.05m) in the high jump for second place.
