The North Dakota State men's track & field team competed at a pair of meets in southern California on Friday, with four Bison recording performances that rank among the Top 10 in school history.

Jake Arason registered a significant personal-best of 14:17.85 in the 5000m at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif., ranking him fourth in NDSU history. He trimmed 14 seconds off his previous best in the event.

Aaron Cummings cleared 16-11 (5.16m) in the pole vault at Long Beach State, setting a new personal-best that ranks fourth in NDSU outdoor history.

Carlton Mukurazita now ranks eighth all-time at NDSU for the triple jump after posting a mark of 49-04.50 (15.05m). Only two Bison have recorded a better triple jump mark in the last 20 years.

Ethan Moe ran an 800m personal-best of 1:50.24 at the Bryan Clay Invitational to rank No. 8 all-time at NDSU. Fellow freshman
Quinn Roehl ran 1:52.30 in the 800m.

Matt Kraft surpassed 71 meters in the javelin for the third time in his career, throwing 233-1 (71.06m) at the Beach Invitational to rank in the NCAA's Top 25 this season. Freshman
Logan Arason threw a personal-best 193-7 (59.02m) in the javelin.
