MAYETTA, Kan. – The North Dakota State women's golf team is in seventh place following the first round of play at the Summit League Championship at Firekeeper Golf Course on Sunday afternoon.
NDSU sits in seventh place after the first round of action with a score of 303. Denver holds the top spot after shooting 275 (-13). Oral Roberts (283) is in second place, while St. Thomas (298) and South Dakota State (298) are tied for third.
Norah Roberts carded a 75 (+3) in the first round with one birdie and is tied for 16th place on the par 72 course.
Catherine Monty is also tied for 16th place with a 75 (+3) and tallied two birdies.
Madi Hicks is slotted tied for 21st with a 76 (+4), while
Elise Hoven is tied for 25th place with a 77 (+5).
Leah Skaar closed out the group tied for 30th place with a 78 (+6).
NDSU will continue play at the Summit League Championship tomorrow.
