MAYETTA, Kan. – The North Dakota State women's golf team finished in sixth place at the Summit League Championship at Firekeeper Golf Course on Monday afternoon.
The Bison carded rounds of 303, 319 and 302 for a 54-hole total of 924 to finish in sixth place. Denver (275-300-275--850) took the spot after recording a -14. Oral Roberts (283-313-296--892) came in second place, while St. Thomas (298-316-294--908) and South Dakota State (298-317-293--908) finished tied for third place.
Madi Hicks (76-77-75--228) led the way for the Bison in the final round recording a +3 on the par 72 course with two birdies to finish tied for 14th place.
Norah Roberts (75-79-75--229) also carded a +3 with three birdies to finish in 16th place.
Elise Hoven (77-81-77--235) posted a tied for 24th place finish, while
Catherine Monty (75-82-79--236) was two spots back tied for 26th place.
Cora Larson, who subbed in for
Leah Skaar in the final round, carded a 75 (+3) with two birdies.
