DES MOINES, Iowa – The North Dakota State women's track & field team started three days of competition at the Drake Relays on Thursday evening with several distance events on the track.

Alexis Roehl set a new personal-best of 10:40.86 in the 3000m steeplechase, moving up to sixth on the NDSU all-time list. She trimmed nearly six seconds off her previous best in the event.

Reagan Baesler ran the second-fastest 1500m of her career, clocking 4:26.00. She stands at No. 8 on the NDSU all-time list and No. 2 in The Summit League this season.

Hope Pringle ran a personal-best 36:48.59 in the 10,000m, and
Ava Larsen finished in 37:13.01 for her 10,000m debut.

Brita Birkeland ran 2:12.76 and
Kate LeBlanc ran 2:13.60 in the 800m.

Competition will continue at the Drake Relays on Friday and Saturday.
