Bison Women Race at Summit League Cross Country Championships Saturday

The North Dakota State University women's cross country team will compete at the Summit League Championships this Saturday, Nov. 1, in Ashland, Neb.
Omaha will host the meet at Mahoney State Park. The women's six-kilometer race starts at 11 a.m., following the men's 8k at 10 a.m.
The NDSU women will be in search of their sixth Summit League team title in cross country, claiming championships previously in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2019, and 2022. NDSU finished second last year with 70 points in the team standings.
NDSU's Reagan Baesler returns as the defending individual champion after posting the second-fastest winning 6k performance in Summit League Championships history last year. The Bison women have captured five Summit League individual crowns in cross country.
Baesler has been the top finisher for the Bison at every meet this season. The sophomore trio of Logan Harz, Mia Hoffmann and Jenna DeBates have combined to fill out NDSU's top four all season.
The Bison women will enter the conference meet at No. 14 in the USTFCCCA Regional Rankings, coming off a second-place finish as a team at the Bradley Pink Classic on Oct. 17.
