NDSU Men’s Golf Adds Albers to Signing Class

FARGO, N.D. -  The North Dakota State men's golf program and head coach Dr. Ekren Miller have announced the addition of Peyton Albers to the 2026 signing class.

Albers will come to Fargo and join the Bison from Waunakee Community High School in Wisconsin, where he won the Wisconsin State Individual Championship and led Waunakee to the team championship last season. Albers earned six medalist finishes as a junior, setting a new Waunakee record, and also became just the second Waunakee golfer to win a state title.

Overall, Albers shot a 73.4 scoring average last season and recorded 16 Top 10 finishes and 10 Top 5 finishes as he secured First Team All-State and Academic All-State accolades. He earned Second Team All-State as a sophomore and is a three-time All-Conference recipient. Albers has qualified for the state championship all three years and had a 10th place finish as a sophomore. He has 10 career Wisconsin Junior PGA Tournament titles and qualified for the Wisconsin Junior PGA All-Star Team in 2024 and 2025.

Albers is the third Bison signee, joining Elias Ekern and Henry Johnson, who signed on National Signing Day on November 12.
