Eli Ozick Named Finalist for Fred Mitchell Award

FARGO, N.D. - North Dakota State's Eli Ozick has been named one of 10 finalists for the Fred Mitchell Award, which honors the nation's most outstanding placekicker among more than 750 eligible FCS, Division II, Division III and NAIA kickers.

Ozick, a sophomore from Liberty, Mo., leads all FCS kickers in scoring with 106 total points and 8.8 points per game in his first year as NDSU's primary placekicker. He tops the Missouri Valley Football Conference with 58 extra points, 16 field goals made and 88.9 percent field goal conversion rate (16-for-18).
