VERMILLION, S.D. – The North Dakota State women's track & field team won its 16th title in 17 tries at the Summit League Outdoor Championships on Saturday.

Combined with 16 indoor team titles, the NDSU women have now won 32 out of 35 team conference championships since joining The Summit League in 2008.

The Bison women claimed four individual event titles on the final day of the meet and totaled 222 points in the team race, beating second-place South Dakota (175) and third-place North Dakota (162).

Sophomore
Arienne Birch made it a perfect 4-for-4 in her career, sweeping the Summit League high jump titles for the second year in a row. She cleared 6-00.00 (1.83m) for the win.

Freshman
Nyariek Kur claimed the title in the triple jump with a mark of 40-11.50 (12.48m). The Bison women finished 1-3-4-5-8 in the event, with
Grace Emineth third at 40-03.50 (12.28m),
Grace VanErp fourth at 40-03.25 (12.27m),
Ella Gardner fifth, and
Joy Nnantah eighth.

Senior
Reagan Baesler defended her Summit League 1500m title, winning in 4:23.05 with a dramatic late kick, and the Bison women finished 3-5-6 behind her.
Grace Link was third,
Jaelyn Miller took fifth, and
Reagan Berg claimed sixth.

Bison sophomore
Anika Larson took the 100m dash crown in a personal-best 11.57, moving up to tie for third in NDSU history. Larson also finished second in the 200m with a PR of 23.54 to rank third in school history.

Freshman
Paige Renschler placed third in the 100m dash, running 11.65 to rank sixth-fastest in school history. She came back later in the meet to take fourth in the 200m in a personal-best 23.85. Freshman
Elise Wisnewski finished sixth in both the 100m and 200m.

Riika Tirkkonen, Wisnewski, Renschler and Larson finished second in the 4x100m relay, running 45.40 to rank fifth in school history.

Reese Rogowski, Wisnewski,
Kaci Cooper and
Allie Niska ran 3:39.30 to take second in the 4x400m relay.

Adison Kapitzke placed second in the shot put and third in the discus, throwing a discus PR of 153-11 (46.93m) to rank ninth in NDSU history.
Merrideth Spiers took fourth in both events.

Baesler finished third in the 5,000m with a time of 16:38.09.
Mia Hoffmann was eighth in 17:01.81.

Niska (54.96) and Rogowski (55.67) placed fourth and sixth, respectively, in the 400m dash.

Marvelous Onwualo placed fourth in the 100m hurdles in 13.87, and freshman
Laney Songster took sixth in 13.98.

Jaelyn Miller finished fifth in the 800m, running 2:13.11.

Kendal Stingle finished sixth in the 400m hurdles final with a time of 1:01.54, and Cooper took seventh place.
