SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State sophomore
Kaleb Foltz has been named the Kwik Star Summit League Men's Indoor Track Peak Performer of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday, Jan. 20.
Foltz (Rosholt, S.D.) ranks seventh in the NCAA this season after winning the 800m in a facility-record time of 1:50.74 at the Bison Team Cup. Because it was clocked on a 200m flat track, Foltz's time converts down to 1:49.18 for the national performance list.
Foltz now stands at sixth on the NDSU all-time indoor list in the 800m. He also ranks third in school history in the 600m after running 1:19.51 at the Dakota Alumni Classic in December.
