FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State University track & field teams will host the Bison Team Cup this Saturday, Jan. 17, at the Shelly Ellig Indoor Track & Field Facility on campus.

Field events begin at 1 p.m. Saturday with the women's high jump, women's pole vault, and men's weight throw. Men's and women's long jump will start at 2 p.m., and running events are scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. on the track.

Among the teams expected to compete with the Bison on Saturday are North Dakota, MSU Moorhead and Valley City State.

Several NDSU athletes established strong performances in December that stand among the Top 25 in the nation so far this season. On the men's side,
Kaleb Foltz is 13th nationally in the 800m,
Jonah Dafoe is 20th in the 800m, and freshman
Carter Reckelberg is 20th in the long jump. For the Bison women, freshman
Kaela Skistad stands 19th in the NCAA for the 400m dash,
Anika Larson is 23rd in the 200m, and
Adison Kapitzke is 24th in the shot put.

The NDSU women have captured 16 indoor team titles in 18 seasons since joining The Summit League in 2008. The Bison men have added nine indoor team titles in that span.
