HOPEWELL, N.J. – North Dakota State women's basketball head coach Jory Collins has been selected to the midseason watch list for the 2026 Kathy Delaney-Smith Mid-Major Coach of the Year Award presented by Her Hoop Stats, the organization announced on Wednesday morning.

Collins is one of only 10 coaches named to the midseason watch list. He's also one of two head coaches in the Summit League on the list, joining Aaron Johnston from South Dakota State.

Collins has helped guide the Bison to an 18-2 (7-0 Summit) overall record this season. NDSU has won each of its last 16 games, which ranks as the second-longest active win streak in the nation behind UConn (37 straight wins). The Bison have also started Summit League play with a 7-0 mark for the first time in program history.

NDSU currently ranks in the top 30 nationally in free throws made per game (6th, 17.9), free throw attempts per game (10th, 23.3), turnovers per game (11th, 12.0), field goal percentage (18th, 47.1), scoring margin (18th, 19.9) and scoring offense (23rd, 79.5).
