
Eight Bison Named to CSC Academic All-District Football Team

FARGO, N.D. - North Dakota State had eight student-athletes named to the 2025 Academic All-District® Football Team selected by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday, Jan. 6. The team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
NDSU defensive tackle Jaxon Duttenhefer, linebacker Logan Kopp, wide receiver Bryce Lance, right tackle Josh Magin, quarterback Cole Payton, linebacker Nathaniel Staehling, fullback Truman Werremeyer and wide receiver/return specialist Jackson Williams made the Academic All-District® team.
Finalists will advance to the national ballot for Academic All-America® honors to be announced on Tuesday, Jan. 27.
To qualify, nominees must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and compete in 90 percent of the institution's games or start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games. Graduate students must also have a 3.50 cumulative GPA in grad school.
