Trent Fraley Named Rimington Award Winner

FARGO, N.D. - North Dakota State center Trent Fraley was named the 2025 Rimington Award winner Tuesday, Jan. 6, as the top center in the Football Championship Subdivision.

Fraley, a junior from Moon Township, Pa., started all 29 games at center for NDSU over the past two seasons, helping the Bison to two Missouri Valley Football Conference championships and an NCAA FCS national title in 2024.

Fraley was named a first team All-American this year by the American Football Coaches Association, Stats Perform, Associated Press and Sports Illustrated FCS Football Central. He was named the FCS's most outstanding offensive lineman by the FCS Athletic Directors Association and Phil Steele.

Fraley transferred to NDSU in 2024 after two seasons at Marshall and was named to the 2024 MVFC All-Newcomer Team.

This is the fourth Rimington Award for NDSU, the most of any FCS program. Other Bison centers to earn the award were Rob Hunt (2004), Joe Lund (2012) and Tanner Volson (2018).
