The North Dakota State University men's cross country team will run at the Summit League Championships this Saturday, Oct. 31, in St. Paul, Minn.
St. Thomas will host the meet at the Highland 9 Hole Golf Course. The men's eight-kilometer race will begin at noon, following the women's 6k race at 11 a.m.
The Bison men placed third with 76 points in the team standings one year ago, with Ethan Moe as NDSU's top individual in sixth place overall.
NDSU is in search of its first-ever Summit League team title in men's cross country. The Bison have claimed league runner-up honors in seven of the last nine years, and have recorded 11 straight top-three finishes as a team at the conference meet.
Individually, Greg Liebl's second-place finish in 2007 remains the best finish by a Bison at the Summit League meet.
Moe has led the Bison men in all three meets he has entered this season, including a personal-best 8k time of 23:32.4 at the Bradley Pink Classic two weeks ago for the fastest true 8k time in NDSU's Division I era.
Will Gerber, Quinn Roehl, Regan Bosch, Brady Goss and Owen Johnson have regularly filled out the team scoring for the Bison men this season. After Moe, Gerber is NDSU's top returning finisher from last year's Summit League meet, owning two top-20 finishes at the conference meet in his career.
