
NDSU Women’s Golf Picks Up Four All-Summit League Selections

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The North Dakota State women's golf team earned four All-Summit League selections, the league office announced on Friday morning.
Madi Hicks was named to the All-Summit League First Team for the first time in her career, while Norah Roberts landed on the second team for the first time. Avery Bartels was named to the honorable mention list and Jeri LaFleche was tabbed to the All-Freshman Team.
Hicks becomes the first NDSU player on the first team since Natalie Roth in 2018. The Victoria, Minn., native recorded a team-best 74.4 average over 29 rounds and posted four top 10 finishes, including three in the top five. Her 74.4 scoring average ranks seventh on the Bison all-time single-season list.
Roberts ranked second on the team with a 75.5 scoring average over 29 rounds. The Caledonia, Wis., native posted two five finishes, including her first career win at the El Campeon College on Feb. 24. Bartels registered a career-low 75.7 average over 29 rounds. The Oxbow, N.D., native logged a team-high five top 10 finishes and finished inside the top 10 in each of the last three tournaments.
Lafleche posted a 76.7 scoring average across 23 rounds. She logged two top 10 finishes and closed the regular season with a season-best tied for fifth place finish at the Bobcat Desert Classic.

NDSU will be back in action at the Summit League Championship on Sunday at Longbow Golf Course in Mesa, Ariz.
