SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State sophomore jumper Reece Grosserode was named the Kwik Star Summit League Men's Field Peak Performer of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
Grosserode collected his first career Summit League weekly honor. His leap of 51-3 (15.62m) in the triple jump at LSU's Battle on the Bayou was a personal-best and provided him with a third-place finish in a field stacked with competitors from seven different Power 4 programs.
The Lincoln, Neb., native became just the second Bison to surpass the 51-foot mark in the triple jump as he moved into the top two on the program's all-time charts. Grosserode is ranked 16th nationally in the event this season.
