Lafleche Named Summit League Women’s Golf Newcomer of the Year

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Jeri Lafleche has been named the Summit League Women's Golf Newcomer of the Year, the league office announced on Wednesday.
Lafleche registered a 76.3 average over 26 rounds this season and recorded three top 10 finishes, including two in the top five. The Winnipeg, Manitoba native finished the season with back-to-back top five finishes. Lafleche, who was also named to the Summit League All-Freshman Team earlier this season, carded a fourth place finish at the Summit League Championship with a 54-hole total of 220 (+7), which was the lowest among freshmen.
Lafleche joins Natalie Roth (2015) and Madi Hicks (2023) as the only players in Bison history to be named the Summit League Newcomer of the Year.
