Bison Men Conclude NCAA West First Rounds

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The North Dakota State men's track & field team wrapped up competition at the NCAA West First Rounds on Friday evening.

Bison junior Ethan Moe finished 21st in the national quarterfinals of the 1500m, clocking 3:48.13 in a tactical race.

Brady Goss placed 24th in the 3000m steeplechase, running 8:51.30.

Sophomore Reece Grosserode took 25th in the triple jump with a mark of 50-05.25 (15.37m). Adam Dugger placed 44th.

Moe, Goss and Dugger all set school records this season in their respective events.

The top 12 finishers in each event advance to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore.

The meet will conclude on Saturday, with women's competition featuring NDSU's Paige Renschler (100m, 200m) and Arienne Birch (high jump).
