Summit League Academic Honor Roll (2021)
2021 SEASON (SENIOR): Played in 23 matches and appeared in 70 sets…Totaled 89 kills…Averaged 1.27 kills per set…Posted 42 total blocks…Contributed 41 digs…Posted a season-high 12 kills in the win over Charlotte on Sept. 3.
Prior to NDSU: Hicks recorded 661 kills in her four seasons at Illinois Chicago from 2017-21, including 249 kills with a .205 hitting percentage as a junior in 2019. She earned Horizon League All-Freshman honors in 2017 after averaging 2.13 kills to rank second on the team, as well as registering 73 blocks. Hicks owns single-match career highs of 24 kills and 7 blocks.
High School: Lettered three years in volleyball and one year in basketball at Carmel High School… Won the 2014 Class 4A Sectional, Regional and Semi-State Championships alongside her team… Was a member of the 32-7 Class 4A Volleyball State Champions team in 2014… Was a 2016-17 ICGSA Academic All-State Honorable Mention… Three-time Carmel High School Scholar Athlete.
Personal: Daughter of Shaun and A. Michelle Hicks ... Has four siblings: Ariel, Shaun, Malik and Audi.
