2022 SEASON (SENIOR): All-America second team pick by the American Football Coaches Association and FCS Football Central...Third team Associated Press All-American...Returned to the Bison program for a fifth year of eligibility due to COVID-19's impact on the 2020 season...Started all 15 games at strong safety...NDSU’s second leading tackler with 85 total tackles and 3.0 tackles for loss...Made one interception and broke up six passes...Career-high 13 tackles in the NCAA semifinal win over Incarnate Word...Made 12 tackles in the NCAA championship against South Dakota State...Part of a defensive unit that ranked seventh in the FCS allowing just 172.4 passing yards per game.

2021 SEASON (SENIOR): All-America first team by HERO Sports and third team by Stats Perform...All-Missouri Valley Football Conference first team...Started all 15 games at strong safety...NDSU's second leading tackler with 81 total tackles including a team-high 54 solo tackles...Had 2.0 tackles for loss...Intercepted a pass in the NCAA quarterfinal win over East Tennessee State...Broke up three passes on the season...Season-high eight tackles in wins over North Dakota, Missouri State and Indiana State.

2020-21 SEASON (JUNIOR): Second team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference...Started all 10 games at strong safety...Fourth on the team with 50 tackles including 2.0 tackles for loss...Season-high seven tackles against Southern Illinois and South Dakota State.

2019 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Honorable mention All-Missouri Valley Football Conference...Started all 16 games at strong safety...NDSU's second-leading tackler with 105 total tackles...Led the MVFC with seven interceptions, which tied for second most in conference and school single-season history...Made picks in three straight games against North Dakota (2), Delaware and UC Davis...Also had interceptions in each of the first three NCAA playoff games...Career-high 11 tackles in the win at Delaware...Followed with 10 tackles the next
week against UC Davis...Made 10 stops in the NCAA second round win over Nicholls State...Made the MVFC Honor Roll.

2018 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Played in 12 of 15 games...Made 17 tackles and had two interceptions...His first collegiate interception came at Western Illinois in mid-October before missing three games due to injury...Came back to make a season-high five tackles against Missouri State and recorded another interception in his second game back against Southern Illinois...One of the top tacklers on NDSU's special teams units...Had four stops on punt coverage and two on kickoff...Named to the MVFC Honor Roll.

2017 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the Bison program.

HIGH SCHOOL: 2017 graduate of Warren Central High School...Four-year starter who played safety and running back under coach Jayson West...Team captain his senior year for a USA Today Top 20 ranked program that went 10-2 and won conference and sectional championships...Two-time all-conference honoree...First team all-county and all-state in 2016...Had 75 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, five recoveries, five interceptions, five pass breakups, one blocked punt and two defensive touchdowns...Recorded a turnover in seven consecutive games...Charted 216 total tackles in his career with seven interceptions and 24 breakups plus 16 tackles for loss, five forced fumbles and eight recoveries...Also competed in track and field...All-state sprinter and part of the state fourth-place 1,600-meter relay...Ran the 200 and 400 meters and the 300-meter hurdles...Honor roll student.

PERSONAL: Graduated from NDSU in May 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in physical education...Son of Steve and Lorri Tutsie...Has a daughter, Sarai...Father was an assistant football coach at Marian University in Indianapolis...Has two sisters, Lauren and Brooke.
