2022 SEASON (SENIOR): Returned for a fifth year of eligibility due to the impact of COVID-19 on the 2020 season...Phil Steele FCS All-America fourth team...All-Missouri Valley Football Conference first team...Started all 15 games at free safety...NDSU’s fifth leading tackler with 56 total tackles and 3.0 tackles for loss...Team-high five interceptions with four of them coming in the NCAA playoffs...Also finished with six pass breakups, forced three fumbles and had two recoveries...Scored on a 79-yard fumble return against North Carolina A&T...Career-high eight tackles against Illinois State...Part of a defensive unit that ranked seventh in the FCS allowing just 172.4 passing yards per game...Named to the Missouri Valley Football Conference Honor Roll.
2021 SEASON (SENIOR): Played in all 15 games and made 14 starts at free safety...NDSU's fifth-leading tackler with 50 total tackles including 29 solo stops...Made 4.0 tackles for loss and forced one fumble...Made two of his four interceptions in the NCAA playoffs...Also had four pass breakups on the year...Tied a career high with seven tackles in the home win over Missouri State...Four other games with six tackles, including the national championship victory over Montana State...MVFC Honor Roll.
2020-21 SEASON (JUNIOR): Limited to four games due to injury...Made starts against Central Arkansas, Northern Iowa, South Dakota State and Sam Houston...Credited with 12 total tackles...Recorded a season-high five tackles with one pass breakup against SDSU...Made his first career interception in the only game of the fall against UCA.
2019 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Backup safety who played in all 16 games and made two starts against Delaware and South Dakota...Career-high seven tackles in the win at Delaware...Had two tackles and two pass breakups against USD...Made five stops in each of the wins over North Dakota and Youngstown State...Totaled 25 tackles on the season including 20 solo stops...Regular contributor on special teams...Four of his tackles came on kickoff coverage...Made the MVFC Honor Roll.
2018 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Played in 10 of 15 games...Made five tackles...Season-high two tackles including a forced fumble in the win over Southern Illinois...Named to the MVFC Honor Roll.
2017 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the Bison program.
HIGH SCHOOL: 2017 graduate of Pleasant Grove High School...Three-year starter under coach Jason Rossow...Played defensive back and wide receiver, returned kicks and punts, and punted...Made 68 tackles and had five interceptions and 14 pass breakups his senior year...First-team all-conference and all-metro defensive back in 2014 and 2016 and wide receiver in 2015...Finished his career with 171 tackles, 13 interceptions and 20 breakups...Made 99 receptions for 1,427 yards and scored 18 total touchdowns...Set school records for career receptions, interceptions and defensive touchdowns...Also played baseball...Honor roll student.
PERSONAL: Graduated from NDSU in May 2022 with a bachelor's degree in sociology and minor in emergency management...Son of Kyle and Jill Weber...Has one brother, Dalton...Has an uncle, Rich Kreitling, who was an NFL wide receiver for six seasons with the Cleveland Browns (1959-63) and Chicago Bears (1964).
