* 2018 MVFC Honor Roll

2022 SEASON (SENIOR): Returned for a fifth season of eligibility due to the impact of COVID-19 on the 2020 season...Started all 15 games at cornerback...Fourth-leading tackler on NDSU...Made 59 total tackles with one tackle for loss...Recovered a blocked field goal and returned it 56 yards for a touchdown in the season-opener against Drake...Had a 37-yard interception return late in the second quarter against Illinois State to set up a field goal that gave NDSU a 10-7 halftime lead...Career-high seven tackles against North Dakota...Four of his six pass breakups came in the NCAA playoffs...Part of a defensive unit that ranked seventh in the FCS allowing just 172.4 passing yards per game.

2021 SEASON (SENIOR): Played in all 15 games...Totaled 31 tackles including 1.5 tackles for loss...Broke up five passes and made three interceptions...His leaping, one-handed grab in the end zone with 3:05 left in the game helped the Bison secure a 20-14 win over James Madison in the NCAA semifinals...Made a season-high four tackles in four different games.

2020-21 SEASON (JUNIOR): Played in all 10 games and made five starts at cornerback...Totaled 25 tackles including 21 solo stops...Led the Bison with five pass breakups...Career-high five tackles at Northern Iowa and Sam Houston with four solo tackles in both games.

2019 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Backup cornerback who was a mainstay on special teams playing in all 16 games...Made 24 total tackles including five on kickoff coverage...Season-high three tackles on three occasions against UC Davis, Missouri State and Southern Illinois...Had five pass breakups with two coming in the home win over South Dakota.

2018 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Played in 11 games as a true freshman...Appeared in the non-conference win over North Alabama and played in the final 10 contests of the year...Elevated to No. 2 cornerback on the depth chart in late October...Member of the punt defense and kickoff coverage units...Finished the season with five tackles...Season-high two tackles against Western Illinois...Named to the MVFC Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: 2018 graduate of Hinsdale South High School...Three-year starter for coach Mike Barry...Played wide receiver, defensive back and returned kicks...Two-time all-conference...Conference Offensive MVP in 2017...First team all-area...Holds school records for touchdowns in a game and career, and yards in a game and career...Member of basketball team that won a regional championship...Academic all-state honoree.

PERSONAL: Graduated from NDSU in December 2021 with a bachelor's degree in finance...Son of Dominique Talbert.
