2017-18 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Wrestled at 141 pounds...Put together a 5-6 record including 1-4 in duals (0-1 Big 12)...Notched three pins and a major decisions...Started season with 4-0 record including three falls in taking the Bison Open (11-11-17) title and a major decision.
2016-17 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Wrestled unattached at 149 pounds...Finished with 4-6 record including two pins, one tech fall and a major decision...Went 2-2 at Husky Open (12-10-16) where he recorded the tech fall and major decision.
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-time Missouri state placewinner including state runner-up finish at 138 pounds as a senior for Blue Springs South High School and head coach Doug Black...Went 51-3 with school record 42 falls as a junior, placing sixth at the state tournament...Finished fourth at the state tournament as a sophomore to cap off 46-4 season with 32 falls...Broke school career records in wins (160), falls (117) and points (791).
