Daniel Goodman joined the North Dakota State football staff in the summer of 2017 as a defensive quality control assistant.
Goodman spent the previous two seasons as a graduate assistant at Emporia State, where he coached the tight ends.  He was part of a Hornets team in 2015 that advanced to the Super Region 3 championship game, the furthest run Emporia State has made in the Division ll playoffs in school history.
Prior to joining the coaching staff, Goodman played center for Emporia State, earning All-MIAA honors his junior year. He was a first team Class 5A all-state pick by the Kansas Football Coaches Association and first team All-Centennial League performer at Emporia High School.
Goodman graduated from Emporia State in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.
