Begins his second season as the defensive coordinator for the Bison...A 20-year coaching veteran at several different levels...Graduate assistant coach at Nebraska for two seasons (2001-02)...Head football coach at Ames High School (Iowa) for two seasons (1999-2000) and assistant coach at that same high school for four years prior to that (1995-98); Assistant head football coach of the Iowa Barnstormers of the Arena Football League for six seasons (1995-2000); Defensive backfield coach at Iowa State for for eight seasons (1987-94) including co-defensive coordinator during the 1994 season; Assistant football coach at Washington State for six seasons (1981-86), coaching the tight ends in 1981 and the defensive backs from 1982-86; Drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 1976 and played in the Canadian Football League for the Montreal Alouettes (1977-79), the Calgary Stampeders (1980), and the Ottawa Rough Riders (1981); Played his college ball at Nebraska where he was second team All-Big Eight in 1976...Holds a bachelor's degree in education from Nebraska in 1976 and a master's degree in education administration from Washington State in 1981.
