Seth Hestness spent two seasons on the North Dakota State University football staff as the offensive quality control coach in 2022 and assistant offensive line coach in 2023.
Hestness joined the Bison after three seasons at Minnesota as a graduate assistant working primarily with the offensive line. He has four years of FBS experience including the 2018 season at Liberty, where he was a graduate assistant for tight ends, fullbacks and special teams.
Hestness is a native of Mason City, Iowa, and graduated from Wartburg College in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in fitness management. He played tight end for the Knights and began his coaching career at Wartburg in 2017 assisting with special teams and tight ends.
