Matt Bauman

Matt Bauman was assistant strength and conditioning coach for the North Dakota State University football team in 2022.

Bauman spent the previous 10 seasons at Minnesota-Duluth, where he was the head strength and conditioning coach overseeing all of UMD's 12 NCAA Division II sports. He was directly responsible for the programming and implantation of year-round strength and conditioning programs for football, men’s and women’s basketball, and volleyball.
 
Prior to his full-time role at UMD, Bauman was a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Bulldogs spending three seasons with the football, men’s and women’s basketball, soccer and baseball teams from 2009 to 2012. He also interned with the Chicago Bulls during the 2008-09 season.
 
Bauman graduated from Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in health promotion and wellness. He earned a master’s degree in education at Minnesota-Duluth in 2011.
