Patrick Harrison enters his third season as an assistant coach for North Dakota State University women's basketball.
Before joining the Bison coaching staff in 2014, Harrison spent a year as the lead assistant coach at Hastings College in Hastings, Neb., under head coach Carrie Hofstetter. At Hastings, Harrison was the recruiting coordinator and assisted with game day operations. He helped lead the Broncos to an NAIA women's basketball national quarterfinal appearance 2013-14 and an overall record of 28-6.
Prior to his time at Hastings, Harrison spent two seasons as a graduate assistant at Wichita State University, where he was a member of the Shockers team that advanced to the 2013 NCAA tournament and claimed the Missouri Valley Conference championship for the first time in school history.
Prior to his arrival at Wichita State, Harrison spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Pratt Community College (Kan.) and was an assistant for two seasons at Friends University (Kan.).
Harrison graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology from Friends in 2009 and earned his master's degree in sports management from Wichita State in 2013.
