Biography

2010 Season (Junior): Started 16 of 17 matches played and averaged 9.16 assists and 2.24 digs per set...Suffered a lacerated liver in a collision with a teammate at home against South Dakota State and missed 14 matches before coming off the bench to play at South Dakota State...Made the final five starts and played a key role in lifting the Bison to their third straight league title and second NCAA tournament appearance...Made 48 assists and tied a career high with 21 digs in the Summit League title win over IPFW...All-tournament at the Louisville Cardinal Classic, where she averaged 7.22 assists and 2.11 digs per set in a pair of losses...Named to the Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.

2009 Season (Sophmore): All-Summit League second team...Played in all 27 matches of the season...First on the team in assists (828), assists per set (8.54) and second in digs (289) and digs per set (2.98)...Fourth on the team in kills (123) averaging 1.27 per set...Led the team for the second season in a row with 33 aces...Ranked sixth in the Summit League with 9.56 assists per set and was sixth with 18 aces...Tied a career-high five blocks twice against Western Illinois and IUPUI...Registered a season-high 21 digs in five sets against Miami (Fla.) on Sept. 5...Notched her seventh and eighth career triple-doubles in back to back matches against Centenary (11k, 14a, 12d) and IPFW (11k, 40a, 17d)...Hit a career-high .733 against Centenary with no errors in 15 attacks...Career-high 54 assists in a four-set victory at IUPUI on Oct. 24...Named to the Summit League Fall All-Academic Team and Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.

2008 Season (Freshman): All-Summit League first team and All-Freshman Team...Made all 28 starts and played in all 101 sets in an impressive rookie year...Led the team in service aces (28) and was second in kills (255), assists (494), digs (297) and points (308.0)...Averaged 4.89 assists, 2.52 kills and 2.94 digs per set...Tournament MVP at Montana, where she posted 14 kills and 10 digs in the season-opener against UC Riverside and hit .409 with 11 kills and 16 assists against Montana...MVP of the NDSU Doublewood Inn Classic, where she had back-to-back triple-doubles against UTEP (14 kills, 23 assists, 19 digs) and Northern Colorado (21 kills, 17 assists, 13 digs) and earned her first of two Summit League Offensive Player of the Week awards...Also named all-tournament at the Allstate Sugar Bowl...Had 10 double-doubles and tied for the national lead among all NCAA Division I players with six triple-doubles, including three in a row against Western Illinois, IUPUI and IPFW...Ranked fifth in the Summit League stats with 0.35 service aces per set, was ninth with a .242 hitting percentage, and finished 10th with 5.68 assists per set...Named to the Summit League Fall All-Academic Team.

High School: Graduated in 2008 from Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton High School...Five-year starter on the volleyball and basketball courts for the Rebels...Minnesota's Miss Volleyball and Gatorade Player of the Year in 2007 when she led D-G-F to a 32-1 record and a third-place finish in the Class 2A state tournament...Finished her five-year varsity career with 1637 kills, 1087 digs, 985 assists, 353 aces and 301 blocks...Three-time all-state pick and two-time Heart O' Lakes Conference MVP...Won three conference titles and made three state tourney appearances.

Personal: Daughter of Bob and Jean Lopez of Glyndon, Minn...Has one older sister, Kelly, who was an outside hitter and libero for the Bison from 2005-09...Majoring in math education.
