Border States congratulates James Hendricks, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.

Hendricks, a senior free safety from Bemidji, Minn., has a 3.047 GPA in business management. Hendricks recorded a career-high nine tackles over the weekend against Illinois State. The Bemidji native also has four interceptions this season to his name, good for second on the team and tied for fourth in the Missouri Valley Football Conference. Hendricks was recently named first team all-conference, and second team All-American by HERO Sports for his achievements this season.
