Border States congratulates Maddy Nilles, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.

Nilles, a health nutrition and exercise science graduate student from Sherrill, Iowa, won the weight throw with a toss of 65 feet, 08 1/4 inches (20.02m) helping the NDSU women's indoor track and field team dominate the throwing events at the Mark Colligan Memorial hosted by Nebraska. Nilles has now won the weight throw in consecutive meets to start the season.
