Border States congratulates Melina Kuerschner, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.
Kuerschner, a senior distance runner from Edmonton, Alberta, earned a bachelor's degree in biological sciences with a 3.95 GPA and is now pursuing a master's degree from NDSU in natural resources management. She placed 20th at the Summit League Cross Country Championships in November, helping the Bison women win the team title. Kuerschner also took fifth place in the 5,000m at the Summit League Indoor Championships in February.Â
