Border States congratulates Bailey Retzlaff, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.
Retzlaff, a sophomore from Carrington, N.D., threw 154-9 (47.16m) for third place in her section of the discus at the Stanford Invitational on Saturday. After placing 3rd in the discus and 4th in the shot put at the Summit League Outdoor championships a year ago, Retzlaff hopes to conclude her sophomore season with another strong performance this spring. She has a 3.622 GPA in education.
