Border States congratulates Trent Davis, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.

Davis, a sophomore hurdler and education major from Cedar Rapids, IA, clocked a personal-best in the 60m hurdles, finishing second in 8.07 seconds at the Dakota Quad this past weekend. He is now tied for eighth all-time at NDSU.

Exhibiting a stellar performance in the classroom and in competition is no easy task. It takes tireless energy, passion and personal commitment to achieve excellence. It's this pursuit of excellence that helps the entire team succeed.
