Border States congratulates Darrius Shepherd, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.
Shepherd, a senior wide receiver from Blue Springs, Mo., has a 3.594 GPA in university studies. Shepherd ran for 236 all-purpose yards against Illinois State, and helped the Bison on to a victory with a 69-yard punt return that led to a Bison touchdown. He has also been named to the MVFC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award and MVFC Honor Roll all throughout his collegiate career.
