Border States congratulates Monica Polgar, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.
Polgar, a junior goalkeeper from Cupertino, Calif., has a 3.455 GPA majoring in natural resources management. She was named Summit League Defensive Player of the Week after helping the NDSU women's soccer team to a 1-0 win over South Dakota State. Polgar stopped all four shots she faced and moved into fourth place in NDSU history with her 24th career win in goal.
