Border States congratulates Avery Wysong, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.
Wysong, a human development and family science major, had a double and a triple to lead the Bison to a 4-3 victory over Samford at the Ole Miss Classic in Oxford, Miss. The Beaver Creek, Minn. native helped stop a four game skid and secure the second victory of the season. Wysong also has a .933% fielding percentage and has recorded 24 putouts, the second-most on the team.
