Border States congratulates Sofija Zivaljevic, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.
Zivaljevic, a redshirt junior from Podgorica, Montenegro, is majoring in finance. She has started five of the first seven games for the NDSU women’s basketball team and leads the team in assists with 24 and assists per game with 3.0, good for fifth and sixth in the Summit League, respectively. Zivaljevic played a key role in earning the Bison’s first win of the season Sunday, scoring a career-high 28 points as NDSU defeated New Hampshire 67-61.
