Border States congratulates Kobe Johnson, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.
Johnson, a freshman from Lawrenceville, Ga., is majoring in business. The true freshman set a career high Saturday against Youngstown State with 103 yards rushing in addition to scoring his third career touchdown. Johnson also returned kickoffs for the first time in his career highlighted  by a 94 yard return for a touchdown, the first return for a touchdown by any Bison this season. Johnson currently leads all true freshman in the Missouri Valley Football Conference in rushing yards.
