FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State Bison women's soccer team (7-7, 3-1 Summit) defeated the South Dakota Coyotes (5-6-3, 0-3 Summit), 1-0, in overtime Sunday, Oct. 11, at Dacotah Field. It marked the second straight match NDSU has gone to overtime and was victorious.
Lauren Miller netted the game-winning goal in the 93rd minute of the match.
Neither team could find the back of the net the first 90-minutes of action, sending the match into a 10-minute, sudden-death overtime period.
Just three minutes into overtime, Miller controlled a pass from
Amy Yang and hammered the ball into the back of the net from 10-yards out to secure the 1-0 win for the Bison.
Miller's goal was her second consecutive game-winning, overtime goal after she scored the winning goal in the Bison's 2-1 triumph against Omaha Oct. 11. She now has a team-high seven goals.

Sierra Bonham went all 93-minutes in goal, making three saves, to claim her fourth shutout of the season and improve her record between the pipes to 6-6.
The Bison return to the pitch Saturday, Oct. 19 when they travel to Brookings, S.D. for a 6 p.m. match against Summit League rival South Dakota State.
