CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The North Dakota State women's basketball team (1-2) fell to the 25th-ranked Harvard University Crimson (3-1) Saturday, Nov. 16, inside Lavietes Pavilion in Cambridge, 84-56.
The Bison were led in scoring by
Brooke LeMar with 13 points and
Marena Whittle with 11.
NDSU was 24-for-71 (34 percent) from the field and 5-for-18 (28 percent) from three in the game.
Harvard was paced by Christine Clark with a game-high 21 points.
The Crimson shot 33-for-72 (46 percent) from the field in the contest and were 6-for-16 (38 percent) from beyond the arc.
Harvard out-rebounded NDSU, 53-43.
With the loss, NDSU drops to 1-2 on the season while Harvard improves to 3-1.
The Bison return to the Bison Sports Arena Wednesday, Nov. 20, for a 7 p.m. game against Missouri Valley Conference foe, Northern Iowa.
