Lineup of Events Announced for Green & Gold Spring Game

FARGO, N.D. - The North Dakota State University athletic department announced the lineup of events for the annual spring football game on Saturday, April 25. Kickoff is scheduled for approximately 1:30 p.m. at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome and admission is free.
Tailgating lots open at 9 a.m. and will be free to the public with spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis. The tailgate lots will close at 4 p.m. As a reminder from the Fargo Fire Department, no fire pits are allowed at tailgating.
The east lobby will open at 9 a.m. and the NDSU football team will be available for autographs from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. in the north concourse of the Fargodome. Doors for the spring game will open at 12 p.m. and fans may enter through the south and east entrances.
There will be no locker room sale this year, but Jostens will be selling 2014 National Champion Fan Collection items and the NDSU Bookstore will also be selling merchandise in the east lobby. Fans can have their picture taken with the 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 NCAA Division I FCS national championship trophies before the game.
Head football coach Chris Klieman and assistant coaches will be wearing Scheels exclusive spring game Nike apparel. The team will be honored prior to the game at 1:05 p.m. during a national championship ring ceremony.
Immediately following the game, fans are invited to stay in their seats for the free premiere of Continuing the Championship Tradition: 2014 NDSU Football, on the Fargodome video boards. This hour-long highlight DVD chronicles the Bison's run to the 2014 national championship. Concession stands will remain open for the showing.
Statewide television coverage will begin at 1 p.m. on the NBC North Dakota network for the third consecutive year. Former KVLY-TV sports anchor Brian Shawn and KFYR-TV sports director Lee Timmerman will describe the action with Valley News Live sports director Beth Hoole reporting from the sidelines.
Stations on the NBC North Dakota network include KVLY-TV (Channel 11, Fargo/Grand Forks), KFYR-TV (Channel 5, Bismarck), KMOT-TV (Channel 10, Minot), KQCD-TV (Channel 7, Dickinson) and KUMV-TV (Channel 8, Williston).
Radio coverage will begin at 1:15 p.m. on KFGO-AM 790 with Bison play-by-play voice Scott Miller, color analyst Phil Hansen and sideline reporter Jeremy Jorgenson.
