RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The North Dakota State men's track & field team had a limited number of athletes compete at the UC Riverside Spring Track Classic on Saturday.
Sophomore Brant Gilbertson clocked 3:58.53 in the 1500m for ninth place, coming within 0.30 seconds of his personal-best time in the outdoor season opener.
NDSU junior Matt Jennings finished in 4:00.18 to take 12th, and senior John Curley clocked a personal-best 4:00.75 for 14th place in the 1500m.
Dalton Herding ran 50.13 in the 400m dash to finish 14th. Redshirt freshman Camron Roehl took 15th in the 3,000m in 9:19.03.
The Bison men will compete next at the Stanford Invitational and San Francisco State Distance Carnival on Apr. 1-2.
