Friday's Game: The North Dakota State men's basketball team (0-2) will travel to Springfield, Mo., to take on preseason Missouri Valley Conference favorite Missouri State (2-0) on Friday, Nov. 17, at JQH Arena.

History with Missouri State: North Dakota State and Missouri State played in basketball for the first time last season, with the Bears earning a 64-50 victory in Springfield on Nov. 27.
Last Time vs. Missouri State: The Bison were unable to overcome a 17-point halftime deficit, falling 64-50 at Missouri State on Nov. 27, 2016.
Missouri State used an early 15-0 run to go ahead 17-4 only seven minutes into the game. Another 7-0 run late in the first half gave the Bears a 38-21 lead at halftime. Alize Johnson led the Bears with 17 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double.

Big Game Hunter: Redshirt freshman Cameron Hunter poured in 24 points on just 11 shots against No. 10-ranked USC Monday night. Hunter made 4-of-5 attempts from beyond the arc and has now scored in double figures in each of his first two games.
Trojan Challenge: The Bison led No. 10-ranked USC 56-51 with nine minutes remaining in the game on Nov. 13. NDSU was within two at 62-60 with four minutes left before an 8-0 run by the Trojans.
Ward vs. USC: Sophomore Tyson Ward set a new career-high with five assists and tied his previous career-high with eight rebounds at USC on Nov. 13.
New Faces: A trio of Bison scored their first points for NDSU on the season-opening road trip to California. Cameron Hunter scored 11 points vs. UC Santa Barbara on Nov. 11 in his first career game, and sophomore transfer Chris Quayle scored three against UCSB. Freshman Rocky Kreuser tallied his first points with a second-half dunk at USC on Nov. 13.

Multiple Threats: NDSU returns four players who shot 40 percent or better from three-point range in league play last season – Tyson Ward, Paul Miller, A.J. Jacobson and Jared Samuelson.
Miller, Jacobson Beyond 1,000 Points: Seniors Paul Miller and A.J. Jacobson both surpassed 1,000 career points in the first half of NDSU's win over Denver on Feb. 11 of last season. Jacobson became the 33rd Bison to reach the milestone, and Miller was the 34th.
Attendance Figures: North Dakota State averaged 4,205 fans for home games against Division I opponents – the best mark in The Summit League. NDSU's average home attendance last season was its best since the 1994-95 season and the top mark in the school's Division I era.
