NDSU Notes
- With a pair of titles, North Dakota State is one of only three schools in the Summit League that have won a title. The Bison picked up wins in 2013 and 2018. Oral Roberts won 15 titles from 1998-2012, while Denver won four titles from 2014-2017.
- Sophomore Taylor McCorkle was one of four different Summit League golfers that captured medalist honors during the regular season. McCorkle and South Dakota State's Teresa Toscano were the only two golfers to capture multiple titles, as McCorkle won the Diane Thomason Invitational and the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational. IT is the ninth time in school history a player has captured at least two titles in the same season.
- McCorkle is one of four returning 2018 Summit League Championship All-Tournament honorees. McCorkle finished in a tie for fourth.
- The Summit League golfers will have to survey a new course at the championship event for the first time since 2015. The Arbor Links Golf Club in Nebraska City, Neb., hosted the last three (2016-18)
- McCorkle set a school record in the second round of the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational with her 65. She edged the previous record of 66 set by Amy Anderson at the Jackrabbit Invitational in 2012. McCorkle finished the tournament with a 141, the lowest 36-hole score in school history as well.
- Emma Groom and McCorkle are two of the best to ever play for the Bison. Entering the tournament, they both rank in the top four in school history in career scoring average. McCorkle ranks third with a 76.18, while Groom is fourth with a 76.99.
- Maddie Herzog joined Amy Anderson as the only two players to ever record a score of under 212 when she shot a 211 at the Red Rocks Invite. Herzog also tied for the third-lowest 18-hole score in school history that weekend, as she shot a 67.
- The Bison shot two of the lowest 18-hole scores in school history at the Red Rocks Invitational, firing a 285 in the first round and a 286 in the third round. They were the second and third best scores in school history behind the 284 at the Battle at Old Works in 2017. The 872 for the 54-holes was the best score in school history by six strokes.
