NDSU Women's Golf Seventh After Day One of Jackrabbit Invite

BOULDER CITY, Nev. - The North Dakota State women's golf team sits in seventh place after the first two rounds of the Jackrabbit Invitational.
NDSU shot a 309 in the first round and a 323 in the second, as they are just a stroke behind Cal State Northridge for sixth place with a 632. South Dakota State has the team lead after shooting a 601 on the opening day. Boston College's Madeline Jin has the individual lead with a 141 in two rounds.
Taylor McCorkle leads the way for the Bison with a 156. McCorkle fired a 75 in the first round and followed with an 81 in the second round, as she is tied for 15th. Maddie Herzog is tied for 21st after an opening day 158. Herzog shot a 77 in the first round and an 81 in the second round.
Sierra Bennion and Lexi Geolat are tied for 34th with a 162 after two rounds. Bennion had an 85 in the first round and cut eight strokes off for a 77 in the second round. Geolat shot a 78 in the opening round and an 84 in the second round.
Alexis Thomas is tied for 52nd with a 166. Thomas shot a 79 in the first round and an 87 in the second round. Playing as an individual, Camryn Roadley is tied for 42nd with a 164. Roadley shot an 83 in the first round and an 81 in the second round.
The final round begins at 9:45 a.m. (central) on Tuesday.
