The North Dakota State University men's track & field team travels to the Summit League Indoor Track & Field Championships this Saturday, Feb. 27, and Sunday, Feb. 28, in Brookings, S.D.
The Bison men have claimed four of the past five Summit League indoor titles, and NDSU has won eight indoor championships in 13 years of league membership.
The meet begins with multi-events action at 9:30 a.m. both days. Running events begin at 4 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday.
NDSU enters the meet with league leaders in seven events, led by seniors Alex Bartholomay (mile & 3000m) and Alex Talley (shot put & weight throw). In the shot put, NDSU holds the top four spots on the conference rankings, and the Bison boast five of the league's top seven performers in the 400m dash this season. Junior Eric VanErp joins Ukkelberg atop the heptathlon list to give NDSU a 1-2 punch in the multi-events.
