COLLEGE STATION, Texas – North Dakota State's men's 4x400m relay team raced at the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds on Saturday afternoon, concluding the slate of events for the Bison at the meet.

Adrian Harris clocked 3:11.06 to take 23rd place overall. This was the first time in the history of the NCAA Prelims format (since 2010) that the Bison qualified to run in the meet.

The same quartet posted a time of 3:09.24 earlier this season, making them the second-fastest relay in school history.

On Friday, before the majority of the day's events were postponed to Saturday due to thunderstorms, NDSU freshman
Maxwell Otterdahl finished 25th in the discus with a throw of 177-2 (54.00m). He will enter his sophomore season ranked second in NDSU history for the discus.

A total of 12 Bison men competed in the meet – the largest contingent in school history.
