BROOKINGS, S.D. – Second-year freshman
Allie Wahlund led the North Dakota State women's cross country team for the second straight meet, pacing a group of three top-10 finishers for the Bison at Friday evening's SDSU Classic.

Wahlund took fifth place overall, completing the five-kilometer course at Edgebrook Golf Course in 18:19.74. Sophomore
Kaleesa Houston finished seventh with a time of 18:29.78, and senior
Kelby Anderson took ninth place in 18:32.32 for NDSU.

Abigail Hoffarth was the No. 4 finisher for NDSU with a time of 18:56.20 for 14th place. Senior
Jen Dufner completed the team scoring for the Bison in 16th place.

Wahlund (Minot, N.D.) was also the top finisher for the Bison women at the season-opening UND Ron Pynn Classic on Sept. 4.

NDSU finished third in the team standings Friday with 51 points. North Dakota claimed the team title with 39 points, and South Dakota State was second with 43.
